Partner presentation: AVL, the coordinator

With AVL List GmbH, the EM-TECH project has a highly experienced project coordinator representing the role of a large enterprise as well as providing expertise in the fields of transmission optimized for e-drive, advanced methodologies for test and instrumentation and of course automotive engineering to the project consortium. 

As the designated project leader, I am not only looking forward to the various innovations we are sure to develop, but also to the exciting talks and fruitful discussions in this interdisciplinary team of scientific and industrial partners of the EM-TECH consortium. This project will definitely give a boost to innovations in the field of electric mobility in Europe and I’m proud to be part of the process

The privately held organization with a history of more than 70 years is located in Graz, Austria and constantly expands its portfolio of high-end methodologies and technologies in the areas of vehicle development and testing. With a holistic approach – from ideation phase to serial production – the company covers vehicle architectures and platform solutions including the impact of new propulsion systems and energy carriers. All with a clear aim: AVL’s passion is innovation.

New years are for new projects

On January 1st of 2023 not only the new year has started but also the EM-TECH project, bringing together 10 organisations from 5 European countries to upport the uptake of affordable, sustainable and user-centric e-mobility, while strengthening the European innovation and value creation chain for e-motor technology.
