In November 20204, the “19th A3PS – Austrian Association for Advanced Propulsion Systems Conference Eco-Mobility 20204 – Sustainable Energy Carriers and Innovative Propulsion Systems in a Circular Economy” took place in Vienna.
Alejandro Robles Martin from UrbanGold and METTOP GmbH presented the approach for a new end-of-life scenario for in-wheel motors; based on the following key considerations:
🔹 Urge for a directly applicable solution
🔹Lack of standardization
🔹Challenges in the non-destructive extraction
🔹Reduction in rare earths content
🔹Expansion of the primary production industry
